Oral Presentation Guidelines

Abstract submitters can choose one of the following modes of presentation when submitting their abstracts via the Abstract Submission Portal (now closed):

Oral presentation

An accepted abstract, by default, will be considered for oral and poster presentation. If the submitting author prefers poster presentation to oral presentation. Please indicate it when submitting the abstract.

The Conference’s Scientific Committee will make the selection of abstracts for oral or poster in August 2021. An abstract acceptance notification will be sent out to the submitting authors by 31 August 2021.

For those who opt for oral presentation, upon acceptance of your abstract you will have to:
1) Create a 10-min video
2) Register for the Conference
1. Create a video of your talk with a maximum length of 10 minutes
Please follow the instructions in the attached i) Technical Guidelines for Oral Presentation; and the ii) Guideline for Pre-recording your Presentation to prepare and upload your video.

Please save your file name as follows:
Pre-recorded video for Oral Presentation: Paper Number_Last Name_video.mp4 (e.g.: 013_Smith_video.mp4)

Upload the video to the Dropbox Submission Portal
Video Submission Deadline
The Dropbox Submission Portal will be closed on 15 October 2021 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time). Please note that changes on all the files are not allowed after the submission deadline. Do not wait until last minute to make your recording(s).
To facilitate our smooth arrangement, if you decide NOT to present your abstract, kindly inform us your paper ID by email as soon as possible.
2. Register for the Conference (all presenting authors must register and show up)

ALL presenting authors are required to show up virtually at the Q&A sessions of their designated Parallel Breakout Sessions. Questions from the moderator and participants will have to be addressed.

Registration for ALL presenting authors must be done online on or before 26 October 2021 at 11:59pm (Pacific Time) [deadline extended] through the personalized link of abstract submission portal provided via email.

The abstract will be automatically withdrawn if no registration for presenting author is received by the deadline.

For Non-students
Please indicate your delegate type in the Registration Category of the Registration system, and pay for the Conference (if applicable).

For Students
For student presenting authors of the abstracts accepted for oral presentation, their registration fees will be waived. Please select “Student Presenting Author for Oral Presentation” in the Registration Category.

To facilitate our smooth arrangement, if you decide NOT to join the Conference for oral presentation or wish to update the presenting author of your abstract, please inform us your paper number by return email as soon as possible before the due date.
